Our passion here is working with men and women and their infertility.
By working
together we are able to achieve the most priceless gift that life can offer, a
beautiful child.
With reported 65% increase in successful pregnancy from
Acupuncture and IVF cycles combined we are excited to support couples in
reaching their goals.
From the study involved with the recent ABC production of Catalyst the results
showed that 15% of couples need assistance in pregnancy. The evidence is
compelling with patients having a higher success rate with treatments before and
after the IVF cycle takes place.
Chinese medicine regards the kidneys, uterus
and the heart as the key reproductive organs. When the transfer is taking place,
the quantity of eggs is irrelevant, rather they focus on the quality of the eggs
that are produced, and if all of the organs are healthier, the eggs will be
healthier and of better quality. All of this leads to the higher success rates
that can be experienced combining both Acupuncture treatments an IVF.
In recent months a strong relationship has been built with two leading Fertility
and IVF clinics. Working closely with City Fertility and Gold Coast Fertility,
we have bonded with many patients and are helping them through their IVF
journey, with treatments and support.

Spikes in Fertility from Acupuncture Scientifically Proven
10-15% of couples have difficulty conceiving at some point in their
reproductive lives and seek specialist fertility treatment.1
Acupuncture has been used for centuries to aid in improving the effectiveness of
the human reproductive system and it is quickly becoming internationally
recognised as a method to improve the results of IVF. The British Medical
Journal recently published a scientific article showing significant positive
results when having acupuncture performed with embryo transfer.
The Australian Newspaper commented on the article saying Women having IVF
treatment can boost their chances of falling pregnant by 65 per cent simply by
having acupuncture.2 It also pointed out the substantial amount saved by
combining IVF and acupuncture rather than two or three IVF cycles.
Mechanisms for its affect include mediating the release of neurotransmitters
ultimately influencing the menstrual cycle, ovulation and fertility. Acupuncture
has also been shown to stimulate the blood flow to the uterus and stimulate the
production of endogenous opioids helping to relax the body.
Scientific research shows 40% of problems with fertility originate in the woman
and 40% of problems originate in the man, so men may also be interested to know
that Acupuncture has been shown to significantly improve sperm viability,
mobility, integrity and fertility. Acupuncture treatments for both partners may
increase the opportunity to fall pregnant.
